UCCA Clay
Yixing / Architect: Kengo Kuma

About
Located in the historic ceramic hub of Dingshu Town, UCCA Clay is dedicated to the dialogue between contemporary art and thousand-year-old ceramic traditions. Designed by Kengo Kuma, the building features an undulating facade of custom ceramic panels on the site of a former state pottery factory. As the third pillar of the UCCA network, it serves as a research center exploring how traditional techniques can be reconfigured through modern technology and global practice.
