Tianjin Binhai Art Museum
Tianjin / Architect: Bernard Tschumi
About
Part of the Binhai Cultural Center, this 33,000-square-meter museum was designed by Bernard Tschumi. The copper-colored conical structures pay homage to the region's industrial history, evoking 19th-century factory chimneys. Organized around a massive central atrium, the museum bridges the gap between Tianjin’s manufacturing past and its future as a global center for innovation, showcasing contemporary art alongside technological artifacts.
