Suzhou MoCA
Suzhou / Architect: BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group)

About
Suzhou MoCA is a 60,000-square-meter "rhizome" designed by Bjarke Ingels Group. The museum reinterprets traditional Suzhou lang (covered walkways) into an undulating roof connecting twelve pavilions. Clad in rippled glass and stainless steel, the structure branches between the Suzhou Ferris Wheel and Jinji Lake. The interior is a "manmade maze" of plants and art, serving as a cultural reception hall for the Suzhou Industrial Park.
