Sifang Art Museum | Nanjing

Sifang Art Museum
        Nanjing / Founder: Lu Jun

About
Perched on a hillside overlooking Nanjing, the Sifang Art Museum was designed by Steven Holl to explore the "shifting viewpoints" of Chinese landscape painting. It features a translucent ground floor topped by a dramatic cantilevered gallery floating above the forest. The 30,000-square-meter architectural park includes 20 buildings by global icons like Ai Weiwei and Wang Shu, fostering a dialogue between cutting-edge art and the serene Pearl Spring environment.
