About
Founded in 2005, OCAT Shenzhen is a pioneering contemporary art institution based in OCT Loft, Overseas Chinese Town of Shenzhen. OCAT Shenzhen is the headquarters and longest-standing of the Chinese independent non-profit art museum group OCAT museums. The programs focus on in-depth survey, research, and publication of individual artists, as well as research-based thematic exhibitions.

In addition to OCAT Exhibitions, OCAT Performs and OCAT Screens are annual programs showcasing performing practices and theoretical discussions in art, dance and theatre, as well as screenings and lectures on documentary, video art and film.
