Fotografiska Shanghai
Shanghai / Chairman: Yoram Roth

About
Nestled along the historic Suzhou Creek, Fotografiska Shanghai is the first Asian outpost of the world-renowned Swedish photography museum. Opened in October 2023, the institution is housed within a complex of three restored early 20th-century warehouses that once served as bank depots. This 4,600-square-meter landmark masterfully blends industrial heritage with Nordic minimalism, featuring grand staircases and original brickwork that honor the building’s legacy. Fotografiska is defined by its vibrant, inclusive approach, famously staying open until 11:00 PM to serve as a social hub for the city’s evening crowds.
